Officials are investigating after a driver crashed into multiple homes in Chandler.
The crash happened in a neighborhood near Gilbert and Riggs roads on Tuesday morning.
Chandler police said the 63-year-old driver possibly had a medical condition and passed out at the wheel. He was taken to Mercy Gilbert Hospital with minor injuries.
Fire officials said they are checking with a structural engineer to determine whether the homes are safe to live in, but residents are being told to stay out until they know more. The power has also been shut down for several hours.
No one else was injured in the incident.
