Authorities say the driver of a semi involved in a fiery crash on Interstate 10 on Wednesday was cited for multiple infractions.
According to a Department of Public Safety spokesperson, the driver of the semi was 56-year-old Richard Lee. DPS says Lee operated his commercial vehicle while fatigued, which caused his semi to crash into the median near the Ray Road exit of Interstate 10.
Lee was also cited for failing to control a vehicle to avoid a collision.
Authorities previously said there were no injuries in the crash.
Lee was driving a semi full of vegetables for Stern Produce. When reached Thursday, company Chief Operating Officer Scott Bland said the incident was under corporate review to determine how it happened.
No further information was immediately available.
