CHANDLER — Chandler police are investigating what appears to be a shooting near Cooper Road and Chandler Boulevard.
According to police, a man walked over to a gas station near Cooper Road and Chandler Boulevard claiming he'd been shot in a parking lot nearby.
The man was transported to an area hospital, but "there is no confirmation he was shot," police say.
Chandler Police are on scene near Cooper Road and Commonwealth Avenue but have not yet confirmed a shooting took place.
The Chandler Fire Department confirmed they transported a 24-year-old man to a hospital with a head injury, but the cause of the injury is unknown.
