You've picked out your favorites, but what do you do with the leftover Halloween candy?

At least three dentists in the Valley will buy the candy from you.

J. Phillipp Dentistry in Chandler will purchase it and have it shipped to American troops to give them a "taste of home." They are hoping to collect 500 pounds of candy this year.

For every pound of candy, the dentist will pay $2. There is a limit of five pounds per child.

Candy will be collected from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Nov. 1. The office is located at 3230 S. Gilbert Road, Chandler, AZ 85286, near Gilbert and Queen Creek roads.

Both Affiliated Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics locations in Scottsdale will purchase candy back on Nov. 1, 2 and 6. They will pay $1 for each pound of candy. There is a maximum of five pounds per person.

They have two locations in the Valley: 6868 E. Becker Lane, Scottsdale AZ 85254 and 21809 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale AZ 85255.

According to a Facebook post, more than 1,000 pounds of candy was collected last year.

Pediatric Dental Specialists will also buy up to five pounds of candy at $1 per pound. They will be collecting candy on Nov. 1 & 2 at their offices in Chandler and Gilbert.

The Chandler location is 2955 W. Elliot Road in Chandler. The Gilbert one is 2550 E. Guadalupe. The hours will be Nov. 1, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Nov. 2, 8 a.m. - noon.
