CHANDLER, AZ — Interstate 10 has reopened south of the Valley after a cement truck rolled over on the roadway Thursday morning.
Department of Public Safety Trooper Kameron Lee said the driver suffered some injuries but is expected to be okay after the truck rolled on the westbound side of I-10 near Queen Creek Road.
The truck was blocking the right lanes, forcing the entire freeway to be shut down for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene.

Lee said the vehicle was fully loaded with cement and weighed about 80,000 pounds, which took some time to clear from the road.
It is unclear at this time what caused the truck to roll over.
