Two hurt after flipping car, hitting Phoenix home, police say

PHOENIX — Two people were seriously hurt after flipping a vehicle and hitting a Phoenix home early Friday morning.

Phoenix police say the crash occurred near 43rd Avenue and Van Buren Street around 4 a.m.

Video from the scene showed a vehicle rolled over on top of a parked car in front of a home.

Police initially said a 22-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. One of them reportedly had to be extricated from the crashed car.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
