PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a crash near 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road.
Around 11 a.m. Saturday, emergency crews with the Phoenix Fire Department were called to the area for a crash.
Upon arrival they found a multi-vehicle crash and additional crews from Phoenix and Tolleson were called to the scene.
Six patients were transported to hospitals.
Officials say they include one pediatric male, three elderly females, and two adult females.
The extent of their conditions hasn't been released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
