A pregnant woman and young girl are in the hospital following a crash between two vehicles Monday afternoon in Phoenix.
According to Phoenix fire officials, the crash happened near 35th Avenue and Thomas Road shortly after 4 p.m.
A 27-year-old pregnant woman, who was trapped and had to be pulled from one of the vehicles, and an 8-year-old girl were rushed to the hospital following the crash.
Information regarding the severity of their injuries or conditions was not immediately available.
Officials say four children were also evaluated on scene but not transported.
