Police searching for armed suspect accused of robbing 3 west Phoenix businesses

Police are asking for the public's help locating a man accused of robbing three west Phoenix locations over a two-day period.

According to authorities, between April 24 and 25, an African American man used a handgun and demanded money from three Valley businesses.

  • 6600 W. Van Buren Street
  • 9024 W. Thomas Road

During one of the incidents, the man allegedly fired shots into the ceiling, officials said. During another robbery, he fired his gun in the direction of an employee while the employee was cooperating with his demands.

A second suspect was seen during one of the incidents, officials confirmed.

The first suspect is about 25 years old, 6'0", 150-pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was seen wearing a black Nike hoodie, black sweatpants, black shoes and a face mask. He was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is also believed to be about 25 years old, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a grey and black hoodie, face mask and black sweatpants with a white strip halfway down the leg.
