Police: Man seriously hurt after west Phoenix shooting

A man has been taken to the hospital after being shot in west Phoenix Saturday afternoon. 

According to the Phoenix Police Department, just before 12 p.m. officers responded to a home near 67th Avenue and Van Buren Street for a report of a shooting. 

As officers arrived, they located the victim, who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. 

Police say the victim was "extremely uncooperative" and was transported to the hospital in serious condition. 

There is no suspect description available at this time, police say this incident appears to be a family dispute.
