PHOENIX, AZ — Police are investigating after two men were shot in West Phoenix Saturday night.
According to police, officers responded to a call for a shooting in the area of 59th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard around 8:30 p.m.
Police say a suspect fired several shots at two men, ages 25 and 34, before fleeing from the scene.
The two victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The 25-year-old man died from his injuries, according to police.
The 34-year-old man is expected to survive non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect in this deadly shooting is described as a Hispanic male who drives a silver four-door vehicle.
