A man is hospitalized after being shot multiple times in Phoenix.
Police received reports around 9 p.m. Thursday about a shooting near 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road.
Authorities said a 20-year-old man was walking along 43rd Avenue and a person inside a small vehicle shot at him.
The victim allegedly fired back at the car, police said. He was taken to the hospital after suffering several gunshot wounds.
An investigation is ongoing but officials do not have a description of the suspect or the suspect's car.
