PHOENIX — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred during an argument over traffic in Phoenix on Wednesday evening.
Officials say they were called to the area of 67th Avenue and Thomas Road around 6:40 p.m. in response to a shooting.
A 43-year-old man was found with a serious but non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He told police he was driving and had a verbal dispute about traffic before he was shot.
The suspect fled in a passenger car and has not yet been located.
No further information has been released, but police are asking anyone with information to call police or report anonymously to Silent Witness.
