Phoenix police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck who hit a motorcycle officer overnight.
Officials say the driver of a truck failed to yield while turning left near 67th Avenue and McDowell Road, hitting a Phoenix officer on a motorcycle.
The 35-year-old officer reportedly suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive his injuries.
A witness followed the truck after it left the scene and called police. Two passengers of the truck remained with the vehicle, however, the driver fled.
Officers know who the driver is, but the 39-year-old male driver is still outstanding.
