Phoenix police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in west Phoenix Sunday morning.
The incident happened at about midnight near 67th Avenue and Indian School Road.
Police say a 26-year-old man was crossing the street against the red light when he was struck.
The driver stayed on scene following the collision and is cooperating with officers, according to police.
Neither speed nor impairment of the driver appear to be factors in the collision.
