PHOENIX — A woman has been detained after allegedly stabbing her husband near 51st Avenue and Camelback Road Saturday.
Phoenix police say they responded to the stabbing call at around 4:10 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a man with stab wounds, police say.
The man was transported to a hospital for treatment and his injuries are reportedly non-life threatening.
The man told officers that his wife stabbed him and she is now in police custody.
What led up to the incident, and what charges the suspect may face are not yet known and the investigation is ongoing.
