PHOENIX — Phoenix police are actively investigating a shooting that occurred near 45th Avenue and Thomas late Thursday night.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., Phoenix police say they responded to a call of a shooting in the area.
Three people were found with gunshot wounds, police say.
Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Police have only identified the deceased as a 34-year-old woman, and a man whose age is currently unknown.
The third victim, a 36-year-old woman, was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
At this time, Phoenix police cannot confirm any suspect information and say the investigation is ongoing.
