Two elderly women got into a fight over groceries in Phoenix, according to court paperwork.
Documents show that back in May, 79-year-old Shirley Adair got in an argument with her friend over some groceries and pushed her down causing her to break her hip.
This happened at her home near 64th Avenue and Camelback Road and was seen by a neighbor that witnessed the attack.
Adair admitted to pushing the victim but said her friend started it, paperwork shows.
Adair has been charged with one count of aggravated assault.
Incidentally, Adair and the victim are now both living in the same assisted living facility in Peoria.
