PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a serious crash involving three vehicles Friday evening.
The crash occurred near 59th Avenue and McDowell Road.
Officials say a mother and her two young children were transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The children were taken to Phoenix Children's hospital and the mother was transported to a local trauma center with not life threatening injuries.
Officers have not said if speed or impairment are factors.
Roads are currently closed from 63rd to 59th avenues on McDowell Road.
