Officials are investigating after a deadly shooting in west Phoenix.
Phoenix police said the shooting happened around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday at a house party near 41st Avenue and McDowell Road.
According to police, two people were shot at the party. A 20-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A 21-year-old was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive.
There is no word if anyone witnessed the shooting. Officers interviewed people at the party.
