PHOENIX — A man was killed during an assault at a Phoenix home Tuesday night.
Phoenix police say they were called to investigate an "unknown trouble" near 47th Avenue and Cactus Road just before 9 p.m.
Two men were reportedly in a physical altercation in a back yard when the victim was struck in the head with a crowbar.
Police say the victim, identified as a 64-year-old man, suffered significant head trauma and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Officers arrested 24-year-old James Vu on one count of second-degree murder.
