Officials are searching for the suspects connected to bales of marijuana found in west Phoenix.
Phoenix police said the responded to an apartment complex near 99th Avenue and Camelback Road at 2:40 a.m. on Friday for a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found an apartment door that was kicked in and evidence of shots fired.
According to police, officers entered the empty unit and discovered bales of marijuana in the bedrooms.
Two neighboring apartment units suffered damage from the gunshots, but no one was injured.
Officials are processing the crime scene and attempting to identify the suspects.
