PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix police are investigating after three people were shot at a bus stop near 35th Avenue and Indian School Road Sunday night.
Officers were called to the scene around 9:40 p.m. to find three people with gunshot wounds.
Police say a person in a vehicle drove by the bus stop and fired multiple gunshots at the victims.
The driver fled from the scene, according to police.
"The victims were unrelated to one another, they were simply near the bus stop," Detective Luis A. Samudio told ABC15.
All three victims were transported to a local hospital, but the extent of their injuries are unclear at this time.
