Phoenix PD looking for victim after suspect dies

A robbery gone wrong left one man dead and another arrested on Thursday, and police are now looking for the victim. 

Thomas Kizzee and Fernanda Perea were attempting to rob an unknown victim in an alleyway near 65th Avenue and Earl Drive. Police believe the victim stabbed Kizzee before the two suspects fled with the victim’s backpack.

Kizzee, 20, was rushed to the hospital and was later pronounced deceased.

Police believe the unknown victim chased the suspects down and was able to retrieve his backpack.

Kizzee collapsed, Parea fled the scene, as did the victim, before officers arrived. 

Officers later found Parea and booked him into jail on charges of first degree murder.
