Motorcyclist killed after speeding, Phoenix police looking for semi truck

Police in Phoenix are looking for a driver of a semi truck that drove over a motorcyclist near 43rd Avenue and U.S. 60.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, around 4 p.m. a motorcyclist was speeding and making unsafe lane changes on U.S. 60 traveling westbound. 

The motorcyclist lost control of the bike and struck a white car. The rider of the motorcycle ended up resting underneath a tire axle of a white semi truck that was traveling eastbound. 

Police say the semi truck continued traveling and drove over the rider who died at the scene.

On Friday, police identified the 27-year-old man who died as Josh Bosh Coletin.

Police say the semi truck had a red flatbed trailer attached to it. 

Impairment is not suspected of the driver of the car, which did remain at the scene.

Police are looking for the semi truck. Anyone with information on it is asked to contact police.
