PHOENIX — A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a shooting near 51st Avenue and Thomas Road Saturday afternoon.
Phoenix police said officers responded to a shooting in a parking lot near 51st Avenue and Thomas Road at around 4 p.m.
Officers found a man with gunshot wounds who was later transported to a local hospital for serious injuries.
Authorities said they are still trying to obtain a suspect description and the cause of the shooting.
