Police are hoping you can help them bring to justice a man responsible for a violent attack and attempted sexual assault of an apartment complex security guard.
It was just about one year ago, on Feb. 12, 2015 when a female security guard about 50 years old was working at the Ventana Apartments near 75th Avenue and McDowell Road.
Around 9:40 p.m. a man attacked her from behind. The suspect tried to push her into her car and was able to remove some of her clothing as she wrestled with him.
The woman fell to her knees as the suspect pushed her down, slamming her head on the curb several times.
Residents heard her cries for help and called police. The suspect fled the area.
The assailant is described an approximately 21-year-old Hispanic males, 5 feet 8 inches tall, around 180 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
