A man admitted to police that he set his friend's car on fire because he was "mad at her," according to police records.
Chuck Trombley, 55, admitted to setting his friend's 2003 KIA Spectra on fire on Nov. 25 near 33rd and Northern avenues.
The victim told fire detectives that the car was a "total loss" and valued at $1800, documents show.
He was booked into jail on one count of arson.
Records show Trombley was convicted of arson of an occupied structure in 2004.
