A man and woman didn't let a stabbing get in the way of a good argument.
According to court documents, 36-year-old Luberta Lewis was asking for change outside of the Food City near 35th Avenue and Van Buren on Dec. 18 when a man turned her down.
Police said Lewis became upset and started arguing with the victim. She later stabbed the victim in the arm, documents said.
Officers said they later arrived to find Lewis and the victim still arguing. Lewis was arrested and the victim was taken to the hospital, where he received stitches for his cut.
Lewis has been charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon.
