PHOENIX — Phoenix firefighters had their hands full battling a second-alarm attic fire at a senior living center Saturday afternoon.

Officials say more than 50 firefighters were called to fight the blaze at the Phoenix Manor Senior Apartments near 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road around 3 p.m.

All occupants were able to get out safely, according to Phoenix Fire Captain Danny Gile.
