A man is in extremely critical condition after getting stuck in an industrial machine Friday afternoon.
Phoenix fire responded to the area of 61st Avenue and Van Buren Street around 1:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a man stuck in hydraulic bailing equipment.
When fire crews arrived at the scene, the man had already been removed from the machine, a Phoenix fire spokesperson said. The man was stuck in the machinery for five minutes.
The victim was taken to a local trauma center in extremely critical condition.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The man's current condition is unknown.
