Officials are investigating after a body was found in a west Phoenix apartment.
The incident happened at an apartment complex near 75th Avenue and Indian School Road.
Phoenix fire was called to the scene after officers found a white substance in the apartment. The hazardous material crews removed the substance from the apartment for further evaluation.
At this time, the cause of death is unknown.
