Fire officials say five people have been taken the hospital, including a pregnant woman, following a serious crash involving three vehicles in west Phoenix Sunday night.
Phoenix Fire says the crash happened at the intersection of 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
Officials say a pregnant woman was taken to the trauma center with a head injury in serious condition, two men with unknown injuries also were transported in serious condition, and a fourth person was pulled from one of the vehicles with serious injuries.
A fifth person sustained minor injuries but was taken to the hospital as a precaution, according to authorities.
