Ten people are looking for a place to stay Wednesday after half of their home goes up in flames, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
Fire officials said two adults and one child were home at the time of the fire near 48th Avenue and Indian School Road. No serious injuries were reported, but a neighbor was taken to a hospital after suffering minor burns while moving some of the homeowner’s equipment off the driveway.
The family of 10 that lives in the home that was 50 percent destroyed is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire was not released.
