One person has been taken into custody for allegedly being in possession of a stolen vehicle in Phoenix.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said a trooper made contact with two people who were in a stolen vehicle near 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road on Monday morning.
When a trooper approached the vehicle a man fled the area on foot. Officials searched the area but the suspect was never found.
A woman who was in the car was arrested at the scene.
A description of the suspect is unknown at this time.
