Detectives are investigating after a bicyclist was struck by a truck at 99th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the bicyclist was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
MCSO said a man in his late 20s or early 30s was riding his bike in the middle of the intersection when a truck hit him.
MCSO said this collision is not a hit and run. There are no signs of speed or impairment.
Traffic detectives are investigating and the roads will be restricted for several hours.
