Phoenix police say the crash happened near 46th Avenue and Thomas Road.
The bicyclist, a 45-year-old man, went into cardiac arrest and was found not breathing, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
He was taken to a trauma center where he was later pronounced dead, according to police.
