PHOENIX — A wrong-way driver was taken into custody after being stopped along Loop 202 South Mountain early Wednesday morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a wrong-way driver was reported along the freeway near milepost 67, near 51st Avenue. Gila River Police Department was able to stop the vehicle and take the driver into custody.
No crash or injuries were reported during the incident.
