Phoenix police are investigating after two kids were robbed at a south Phoenix skate park.
Police were called to a skate park near Southern Avenue and 24th Street Friday afternoon after receiving reports of an armed robbery.
According to a police spokesperson, a group of boys stole backpacks and skateboards from two kids at the skate park. During the incident, one of the suspects shot one of the victims in the face with a pellet gun.
The victim was taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK.
Police are continuing to search for the suspects involved. No additional information was immediately available.
