Officials are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian in Phoenix.
The incident happened at 4:40 a.m. in the area of 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
Phoenix police said the pedestrian was crossing on Bethany Home when he was struck by the vehicle.
The adult victim was transported to the hospital where he later died.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with officers. Impairment is not believed to be a factor.
