Officials are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in south Phoenix.
Phoenix police said a man was hit near 7th Street and Southern on Tuesday morning.
The motorist stopped at the scene to assist the pedestrian.
The man was taken to the hospital, his current condition is unknown. It is unclear if he was in a crosswalk or not when he was hit.
Roads in the area are restricted while officers complete the investigation.
