PHOENIX — The Phoenix police and fire departments are investigating an active scene at 7th Avenue and Baseline Road after a car slammed into a pawn shop early Sunday morning.
When first responders arrived, the driver of the vehicle was still inside the car; however, the person has been removed from the vehicle and taken to the hospital.
At this time, it is unclear how or why the driver drove into the pawn shop.
