PHOENIX — A 61-year-old man was killed while crossing a Phoenix street Tuesday night.
Phoenix police say Ruben Dominguez was crossing the street in a crosswalk near 19th and Southern avenues when he was hit.
The vehicle was reportedly traveling eastbound and entered the intersection on a green light when the crash occurred.
The driver, a 27-year-old man, stayed on scene and was not injured. His 29-year-old passenger was also uninjured.
Impairment is not believed to be a factor.
