One dead, three injured in south Phoenix crash

One person is dead after an overnight multi-vehicle collision in south Phoenix.

The crash, involving a Honda Accord and Hyundai Sonata, happened around midnight on Wednesday in the area of 35th Avenue and Lower Buckeye.

Phoenix fire says they transported three people, including a 4-year-old, to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries and one woman was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Phoenix police say the driver of the Sonata was driving with a child passenger at the time of the crash. The woman who passed away was also a passenger.
