One woman was killed and a man is in critical condition following an overnight motorcycle crash in south Phoenix.
The incident happened just before 3 a.m. on Tuesday in the area of 28th Street and Baseline Road.
Fire officials say a man and woman on a motorcycle struck a median after losing control. Both were ejected.
The man was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition and the woman died on scene.
Police are investigating speed and impairment as likely factors in the crash.
