Officials are investigating after a man was shot several times in south Phoenix.
Phoenix police said a woman called 911 on Wednesday after she heard shots fired near 7th Street and Roeser. She also told police she heard two men arguing before the shooting.
The woman went outside and found her husband shot in the leg. He was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary information from the scene is the father and boyfriend of the couple’s daughter got into a argument and the boyfriend may have shot his girlfriend's father in the leg several times.
The daughter and boyfriend left the scene before police arrived.
No arrests have been made.
