PHOENIX — A dog found with rubber bands tightly wrapped around his feet will be available for adoption this weekend.

The Arizona Humane Society says Little Foot will be up for adoption at its Campus for Compassion near 19th Avenue and Dobbins Road on Sunday, March 3rd.

Little Foot was brought in to the humane society in late January by a good Samaritan. Officials say the rubber bands had cut off nearly all circulation to his paws.

By the first week of February, he was well enough to begin recovering with a foster parent.

Now, the pit bull terrier is ready for his forever home. Due to the likelihood that several people will want to adopt him, the humane society said there would be a raffle in the event more than one person wants to add him to their family.

Entries to adopt him will be accepted from 11 a.m. until noon, with the drawing held at 12:05 p.m.

His adoption fee will be $450.
