Five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on 24th Street and Baseline Road, officials said.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, two of those injured were small children and they were taken to the hospital in stable condition. Another victim is believed to be a pregnant female.
The collision happened shortly after 7 p.m.
Police said the roadways would be closed for several hours as they continued to investigate.
At the moment, speed and impairment do not appear to have played a role in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
