A two-year-old boy pulled from a Phoenix pool Saturday evening has died.
According to Phoenix fire officials, family members found the child in a pool near 24th Street and Southern Avenue and began performing CPR. It is unknown how long the child was underwater.
Officials say Phoenix police arrived on scene and continued life-saving measures until rescue crews arrived minutes after and took the child to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
No further information was immediately available.
