Police are investigating after a vehicle hit and killed a man on a sidewalk overnight.
The crash took place at 48th Street and Southern Avenue late Thursday night. Police say a westbound vehicle veered off the road onto the north sidewalk, hitting a man and then a tree.
The man on the sidewalk died from his injuries and three people in the vehicle were taken to the hospital. Police say the occupants of the vehicle were two 17-year-olds and an 18-year-old.
